Dog owners should keep their pets on a short lead from April to August, especially near ground-nesting birds and livestock, and always follow local signs. When wild camping, remember to leave no trace by camping away from buildings and water, packing out all rubbish, and moving on after a couple of nights. If you need to go to the toilet outdoors, move at least 30 meters away from water sources, paths, and buildings, digging a small hole for solid waste and taking all toilet paper with you. Finally, when enjoying activities like canoeing or swimming, always be considerate of wildlife and other park users, keeping a respectful distance from animals and their nesting sites.
