Our new five-year National Park Partnership Plan consultation is open until 13 January 2027. Pop in to see us and learn more about the Plan and how to contribute to the consultation.

We will be at the Ballater Winter Festival! Drop in at our office at the Victoria and Albert Halls to enjoy some food and drink, give our consultation game a go and share your thoughts on the new National Park Partnership Plan. Setting out the vision and overarching strategy for managing the National Park, this Plan will guide our work and that of our partners over the next five years. Find out more about our three missions: nature and climate resilience; communities; and a National Park for all. You can also hear more about our new Cairngorms 2030 Communities Fund and find out about representing your community by standing in our board elections.

We are looking forward to hearing your thoughts and chatting about what is most important to you.

Cairngorms National Park Authority

The Cairngorms National Park Authority was set up to ensure that the unique aspects of the Cairngorms – both the natural environment and the local communities – are cared for, sustained and enhanced for current and future generations to enjoy. The Park Authority provides leadership to all those involved in the Cairngorms and works in partnership with a range of communities, businesses, non-government organisations and public sector partners to deliver practical solutions on the ground.

Group of six people stood around a table with a map on it, in deep discussion. Behind them are two Park Authority staff stood in front of a large map of the National Park, as well as two pop-up banners to their right.
