‘Call For Sites’: consultation now closed
The ‘Call for Sites’ consultation calling for developers and communities to propose areas they think should be put forward as potential development sites has now closed.
The process marked the start of the preparation of the next Local Development Plan (LDP) – with no decisions having been taken yet on how much development land will be needed – and there is no presumption that any sites that are put forward as part of the ‘call for sites and ideas’ will be allocated for development. Only when all the ideas have been assessed, will a full consultation follow later this year where everyone will have an opportunity to have their say.
