Creative expression and iconic shots
Dùthchas - a Gaelic word encompassing kinship, heritage and connections between nature, people and place. Something that the Cairngorms Creative Collective have kept at the forefront of their work. One of the first things they wanted to do after formation was to take part in the world's largest participatory art project, "Inside Out” which encourages people to express themselves through portraits. Two iconic locations in the National Park were chosen to represent the project: Slugain burn, a Cairngorms 2030 river restoration site and the top of Cairngorm mountain. You can read more about the project in our news item.
Here are the final images and the portraits up close.
