Four applications for detailed planning permission on today’s agenda at the Park Authority Planning Committee meeting have been approved, subject to conditions. The approved applications were:

• Construction of a forestry extraction track and upgrades to an existing track at Golden Acre, Glen Road, Newtonmore.
• Installation of a hydro-electric scheme and associated works at Castle Hotel, Spittal of Glenshee.
• Change of house type at Nethy Bridge, enabling the development to progress to the next stage of delivering new, affordable homes.
• Demolition of an estate larder and erection of a single-storey replacement larder with a general purpose area near Tomintoul.
