Forestry track and hotel hydro scheme given green light
Four applications for detailed planning permission on today’s agenda at the Park Authority Planning Committee meeting have been approved, subject to conditions. The approved applications were:
- Construction of a forestry extraction track and upgrades to an existing track at Golden Acre, Glen Road, Newtonmore.
- Installation of a hydro-electric scheme and associated works at Castle Hotel, Spittal of Glenshee.
- Change of house type at Nethy Bridge, enabling the development to progress to the next stage of delivering new, affordable homes.
- Demolition of an estate larder and erection of a single-storey replacement larder with a general purpose area near Tomintoul.
