Scottish Public Services Ombudsman response to complaint
The Scottish Public Services Ombudsman has completed an investigation of a complaint regarding the Cairngorms National Park Authority’s handling of a planning application. The complaint alleged that the Authority had failed to treat the planning application in a fair and consistent manner compared with another; and had taken excessive time to determine the application. Neither part of this complaint has been upheld, and the Ombudsman finds no need to make any recommendations for changes to the Authority’s procedures.
