Newtonmore
The village of Newtonmore has long been an important meeting place in the National Park. Its excellent transport links, beautiful surrounding landscape and local amenities make it a great place to stop for a while - for locals and visitors alike.
Kingussie
Badenoch’s capital, Kingussie, has a long settlement history. Famed for its successful shinty team-alongside more gentle sporting pursuits-it’s a lively town with great connections to the outdoors and the rest of the Cairngorms National Park.
