Dr Sarah Henshall, Head of Conservation
Sarah joined the Park Authority 2019 having worked in conservation in the third sector for 15 years across a range of specialisms including invertebrates and restoration ecology.
In 2022, Sarah became Head of Conservation, leading the nature team on a range of exciting conservation projects from the reintroduction of beavers to the National Park to strategic habitat work and building species resilience.
She is passionate about conservation communication and the role it plays in inspiring and empowering others to take action in responding to climate change and protecting the wildlife, habitats and landscapes that we all benefit from.
