This document contains community council comments for agenda item 7, appendix 6, regarding application 2019/0386/NOT for a submission on woodland building. The community council has serious concerns about the application, fearing it could lead to similar applications that would harm the woodland environment and capercaillie viability. They are surprised by the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds' (RSPB) apparent approval, believing the development goes against the aims of the Cairngorms National Park Authority (CNPA)-sponsored "Capercaillie Group". They suggest that any building needed for development could be located in Carrbridge instead of the woodland.
