Hamish Trench new CEO of Land Commission
The recently formed Scottish Land Commission has appointed Hamish Trench as their new CEO. Hamish Trench is currently the Director of Conservation and Visitor Experience for the Cairngorms National Park Authority and will take up the role in the summer.
Grant Moir, Chief Executive of the Cairngorms National Park Authority said: “I am delighted that Hamish is the new CEO of the Scottish Land Commission. Hamish has made a significant contribution to our organisation in his time here. Hamish has been instrumental in helping to develop successive National Park Partnership Plans, take forward work with land managers, conservation bodies, government and communities. He is highly respected by his peers and we all wish him well in his exciting new role.
“Personally, I have been privileged to work alongside Hamish during my time here and the sound knowledge and advice he has always provided to myself and the Board.”
