Park Authority Convener re-elected
The Cairngorms National Park Authority board has re-elected Sandy Bremner as Convener following an uncontested election process.
Sandy Bremner, who has served as Convener since August 2023 and is also Chair of the River Dee Trust, will continue in the role for a further three-year term.
Sandy Bremner, Convener at the Cairngorms National Park Authority, said: “I'm incredibly grateful to be entrusted to serve for a second term as Convener of the Cairngorms National Park Authority. It has been a huge privilege to work with fellow board members, staff and partners over the last few years. We are committed to speeding up delivery for nature and communities in the face of so many challenges, and I look forward to playing a part in taking the steps needed so people and nature can thrive together in the Cairngorms National Park.”
The appointment was confirmed following an uncontested election process between Monday 20 April and Monday 4 May, with the election process in accordance with the Cairngorms National Park Authority board’s Standing Orders.
