Planning Committee Meetings

The Cairngorms National Park Authority (CNPA) Planning Committee meets every month to determine planning applications or consider other planning matters. The Planning Committee has the same members as the Board of the CNPA

Planning Committee Meetings
Planning Committee meetings take place in public and are livestreamed on our YouTube channel @TheCairngorms and embedded on our Meetings page. The Planning Committee Standing Orders set how the CNPA planning committee operates.

Planning Committee site visits
The Planning Committee occasionally visits a site to help Committee Members understand the details of a planning application in the context of its site and the land and buildings around it. Planning Committee site visits are a formal meeting of the Committee, covered by its Standing Orders.  This Advice Note explains more about what happens at Planning Committee site visits.

Speaking at Planning Committee
You have 28 days from to date of call in by CNPA to make a written representation on a planning application or request to speak at the planning committee where the application is determined.  This Advice Note explains more about Speaking at Planning Committee.
