Changing travel behaviours

By making it easier for people to get around without using a car, this project improves health, creates safer communities and reduces environmental impacts of too many vehicles being on the road.
This project is finding ways to support people to make a shift to walking, cycling, using their wheelchair and public transport for journeys around the National Park rather than using a private vehicle. This includes:
- Sessions that give people the skills and confidence to ride bikes in the National Park.
- Events, promotion and improved signposting to raise awareness of networks, facilities and services, unlocking new possibilities for people in getting from a to b.
- Working with local organisations and businesses who can help us make the National Park a more active and sustainable travel friendly location.
