Please keep daily exercise to your own local area

17th April 2020

With the continuing lockdown, and another weekend of good weather forecast, the advice from Scottish Government remains the same, all unnecessary travel should be avoided.

Adam Streeter-Smith, Outdoor Access Officer at the Cairngorms National Park Authority said, “Exercise outside is very important for both our physical and mental health and people should continue to exercise close to their home.  Please do not travel to or around the Cairngorms National Park to exercise: instead, make use of the paths, open spaces & quiet roads in your own local area. Stay at least 2m away from others and try to avoid busy times at popular paths or places.”

Residents looking for ideas on where to take their daily exercise can download community path leaflets here https://cairngorms.co.uk/discover-explore/things-to-do/walking-trails/community-paths-and-trails/
