Places to go and things to do
There are lots of places in the Park with easy access, but here is a small selection from four corners of the Park which provide accessible facilities, and things to do.
Atholl Estate at Blair Atholl is home to the grand white-walled Blair Castle with plenty wheelchair friendly paths passing through the beautiful castle grounds.
Craigellachie National Nature Reserve by Aviemore offers a wealth of wildlife watching opportunities from the easy access Lochan trail.
Glenlivet Estate, Tomintoul provides some easy access trails and visitor centres to help you discover the rich history and landscape of this special place.
Glen Tanar National Nature Reserve near Aboyne has lots to offer from visitor facilities to easy access trails through native woodlands, and a ranger service to support your visit.

There are many outdoor activity providers that operate in the Park that welcome people with disabilities or special needs. Paths in the Park
There are a wide range of paths with easy access in most communities across the Park. Some of these can be found in Badenoch and Strathspey Paths with Easy Access guide and Deeside and Strathdon Paths with Easy Access guide. Have a look at other options in the community path leaflets.

How to get around
In Badenoch & Strathspey the local community transport company has a “Where2Today?” accessible minibus service which can transport people to the majority of visitor attractions in the area Monday to Friday. Mobility scooters and wheelchairs are also available on short-term loan. Why not leave the car at home and enjoy a relaxing day out. Advance bookings necessary, Tel: 01479 810004 (office hours).
